Sparrow

Wróbelek — 801 Sparrow — is a taupe brown: muted and cool (coffee-toned, with a hint of red/rose). Mid-value, it becomes the darker part of a Summer palette, and for Autumn and Winter a gentle ground for darker, clearer colours. Like its namesake, it hides in the surroundings.

Useful as an accent in colourful mixes, it shows its beauty fully in neutrals: beiges, browns, greys — in pattern or as a solid.

Forest Yarn colour Sparrow 801 — Muted neutrals (grey-brown Sparrow and light-grey Fog) with powder blue (Sky) make a subtle, cool palette that is excellent for Summer (the lighter the colouring, the less brown you use).

Forest Yarn colour Dark forest 601 — A misty, cool morning. Grey and muted brown form the warp, with dark green showing through. Colour-wise: muted, neutrally cool, mid-value tipping toward depth.

Forest Yarn colour Mulberry 301 — Gentle grey (Fog) and a clearly greyish mid-brown (Sparrow) make a muted mélange — an excellent ground for many colours. Pink-violet Mulberry can be the dominant colour here, or a pattern / mélange accent.

Forest Yarn colour Sparrow 801 — Fluff, Fog and Sparrow make a neutrals palette that is clearly muted, light and on the cooler side. Ideal for soft Summers, though it also works for Soft Autumns.

Forest Yarn colour Dark forest 601 — In this pairing Dark Forest and Mulberry are softened by muted Sparrow, which brings the palette closer to softer Autumns. A darker Bark brown works beautifully too, and will deepen the whole palette.
