Mulberry

Morwa — 401 Mulberry — is a deep rose where red and violet meet. It can read as cool as a berry violet, yet there is more warmth, which shows beside other colours. It still belongs in winter palettes, and it composes even more happily in autumn ones.

Despite its depth, in a deep palette Morwa is often a middle, even a highlighting, colour — very easy to mix. It is excellent for colourful accessories (a scarf), as a main colour, or as part of a palette.

Forest Yarn colour Rowanberry 201 — Red Rowanberry and deep-pink Mulberry sit next to each other on the colour wheel (analogous colours), so they make a harmonious pair. Bark brown is optional here, but it deepens the whole palette.

Forest Yarn colour Mulberry 301 — Bark, Mulberry and Fog make a deep, muted, rather cool palette — very elegant. Grey works best as a supporting accent, for example a thin “vein” in an argyle-style pattern.

Forest Yarn colour Dark forest 601 — In this pairing Dark Forest and Mulberry are softened by muted Sparrow, which brings the palette closer to softer Autumns. A darker Bark brown works beautifully too, and will deepen the whole palette.
